HOURS AND POLICIES

HOURS OF OPERATION:  Monday through Friday, 11AM-7PM.  While our office is closed on the weekends, I can arrange weekday appointments outside of regular business hours in an emergency.

First visit will take approximately 45min-1 hours .  Each subsequent session is expected to last approximately 30-45 minutes.  Treatment sessions are scheduled to suit patients’ needs.  Most patients start out with two to three sessions per week.

FINANCIAL POLICY:

We are dedicated to providing the best possible care for you, and it is important that you understand our financial policies:

1. Payment is due and expected at the time of service, unless arrangements have been made in advance between you and our office or with your medical insurance carrier.

2.  At the end of each treatment session, or as otherwise arranged in advance, I will provide for you a billing statement which you can then present to your insurance company for reimbursement.  Please understand that some insurance companies will not provide reimbursement for acupuncture services.  You are responsible for paying for my services at the time they are rendered and for contacting your insurance carrier regarding reimbursement.

3. At this time, we accept payments by cash or check.  However, during your first visit I will need a valid credit card number as guarantee of payment.

4. Our main focus is your health.  We do not want finances to interfere with your treatment, and we are willing to work with patients to arrange convenient payment plans or multi-treatment discounts.

MODERN ACUPUNCTURE SERVICES is centrally located on the second floor of the Lincoln Building, 315 Madison Avenue (entrance on 42nd Street), Suite 200, New York City, NY  10017.  Our office is diagonally across from the Grand Central Terminal and easily accessible by subway, bus, and commuter rail. 

We are professionally affiliated with GRAND CENTRAL PHYSICAL MEDICINE & REHABILITATION, an established multi-practice group offering medical, chiropractic, orthopedic, and physical therapy treatments for a variety of musculoskeletal and internal conditions.
